Gazprom raises claim to Naftogaz in Stockholm court to $37 bln
MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russian gas major Gazprom has increased its claim to Ukrainian Naftogaz in the Stockholm Arbitration Court by over U.S. $5.3 billion to $37 billion, Gazprom said in an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) report on Thursday.
“The specified sum of the claim of Gazprom to Naftogaz Ukraine has amounted to over $37 billion, it includes the debt for gas supplied in May-June 2014 and in 2012-2016 under a take or pay rule, as well as a fine for delayed payments,” the statement said.
The Stockholm court will make its final decision on the case on June 30.
